About The Art:
This piece names that our people's lives are not disposable, that our people’s right to stay cannot/should not be determined by their labor contributions. May we continue to organize against exploitative & extractive markets and remain committed to care & community as our politic. I dream of a world where my people are free. El pueblo unido jamás será vencido.
About The Artist:
Motyko is a Honduran and Cuban, first generation American who speaks through zines and collage making, bold colors and textures, and all of her favorite home cooked meals. With these tools at her side and in the palms of her hands, Motyko creates and captures imagery that translates her multicultural and multipurpose existence into our shared realm. Motyko organizes and strategizes to help build a world free of cages and designs pieces that translate complex narratives of identity and belonging into digital form.
Material:
Made with a Premium (matte) finish on both sides for more natural colours and an artisanal feel.
Color Disclaimer: Actual colors may vary. This is due to computer monitors displaying colors differently and everyone can see these colors differently. We try extremely hard to ensure our photos are as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual color may vary slightly from your monitor.
